Dr. Eldon Hastings DDS

Dr. Hastings was awarded the
best teacher award by the Arizona Private School Association.
Dr. Hastings has over forty years of dentistry experience that he can
share with his students.
He designed
the curriculum at the American Institute of Dental Assisting to be “no fluff”
and directly to the point of dental assisting, while still providing a fun
learning environment. This allows
his students to start school and graduate in a minimal amount of time, while
maximizing the amount of hands on learning.
Dr. Hastings is an extremely caring person and he has the sincere desire
to see his students succeed and continue on to be working professionals.

The American Institute of Dental Assisting prides itself on
enrolling students that are determined to make good choices and
then be committed to their goals.
In
doing so, they will ultimately be successful and graduate. We
believe that student retention is one of the most important
matters to address in the private post secondary school sector.
We have effectively implemented several programs that contribute
to our 97 percent retention rate.

Our student services
department is the heartbeat of our organization.
Each day our Student Services Director, Laura Thompson, learns new and
improved ways to assist our students. She
is constantly improving her department.
She helps our students to realize their true potential as professions.
Our student services department mentors our students on professional
resume writing and interviewing techniques.
The primary function of our student services department is to build solid
relationships with our students so that when they need direction, we can help.
More importantly, through this relationship, we empower our students to
help themselves.

The American Institute of Dental Assisting takes
great care in finding the right students to attend our school.
Our Admissions process involves a sit down meeting with the
Director of Recruitment. We believe that a student must
understand all the elements of Dental Assisting, and what the
schools expectations are before enrolling. We seek to find
students that are serious about their education, and have the
sincere desire to succeed.
